red bullet Congratulations to HCII Ph.D. student Johnny Chung Lee whose innovative uses of the Wii Remote input device have received wide attention. His demonstration video of head tracking for a desktop VR display reached the top of the "top rated videos of all time" list on YouTube, and overall his videos there have been viewed over 5 million times.
red bullet Randy Pausch is recognized by SIGSE for Outstanding Contributions to Computer Science Education. The award will be presented at the 39th SIGCSE Technical Symposium beingheld at the Oregon Convention Center, Portland, Oregon, March 2008.
