Topics include smartphone and wearable sensors, just-in-time adaptive interventions, and gamification as applied to mood disorders, substance use, and lifestyle change. Students will read and lead discussions of research papers and will collaborate on research projects focused on designing, implementing, and/or evaluating a mobile health product. This course will be co-taught with Pitt's Psychology Department. Class will meet at Pitt on Tuesday and at CMU on Thursday.
