We are a multidisciplinary team spanning cognitive science, computer science, information systems, and agricultural extension. The name Icon stems from Warhol’s fascination with celebrity icons, his iconic graphic style, and our deep and unwavering love for Susan Kare.
THE WARHOLThe Warhol is more than a museum. It is a cultural hub where artists, scholars, and the general public can commune through creative interactions with the art and life of Andy Warhol. The Warhol prides itself on being young, ever-changing, and unafraid of risk. Its unique collection is matched by dynamic programming that constantly evolves to meet the zeitgeist. Despite being the nation's largest single-artist museum, the Warhol maintains a lean 25-person staff to oversee all operations, outreach and visitor services.
