Nikki received her Ph.D. in Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a specialization in the Learning Sciences and Psychological Studies. Her research focuses on the regulation of cognition, motivation, and emotions in collaborative learning environments, as well as designing educational technologies for K-12 STEM classrooms.
