Shelley Moertel is an entrepreneur and design professional with more than 20 years experience leading companies and product teams to create great user experiences. Shelley's design work has always focused on technology-enabled solutions, from her beginnings as a UI designer and project manager, to founding and running a design and research consulting firm (to acquisition), to a VP of User Experience in a SaaS company. She’s worked in web, mobile, and wearables for B2B and B2C products across many industries. Shelley is a committed advocate of human-centered design. Her award-winning work has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Wired Magazine, and others. She currently serves as an Adjunct Faculty member in the HCI Institute. Over the years she has also contributed to design practice by holding leadership positions in various professional organizations. Shelley has a Masters of Design degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
