A virtual WIC companion that enables participants to fully utilize PA WIC’s resources and empower them to develop lifelong healthy habits.
The Pennsylvania Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) provides food vouchers, nutrition services, breastfeeding support, and other health resources to mothers and children from infancy to age 5.
Their goal is to help all of the 400,000+ eligible PA residents develop long-term healthy habits. However, a number of barriers prevent families and children from staying in the program past their first birthdays.
