PA WIC has positively impacted millions of low-income families in Pennsylvania. Their services help reduce the family’s financial burden and prevents a number of negative health outcomes in the women, infants, and children enrolled.

The Steep Drop-Off

Even though WIC leads to positive health outcomes, over 170,000 eligible PA residents are not enrolled.

While 93% of eligible infants are enrolled in the program, more than half of them drop out by the age of 2. PA WIC needs to find new ways to retain participants in the program longer.

Our Role

Our team analyzed the total service experience of PA WIC participants and caregivers to discover opportunities to improve their experience and increase participation and retention.
