Kirsten is a native Californian who worked at Google for 6 years before discovering a passion for user research, which inspired her to study HCI at Carnegie Mellon. She’s interested in creating interfaces that all types of people can enjoy.
We are a team of 5 students in Carnegie Mellon University's Master's of Human Computer Interaction Program.
As an accelerated masters student, Maggie is still finishing up her undergrad in Communication Design and HCI. Maggie just graduated from Carnegie Mellon with a degree in Communication Design. Last summer, at Apple, she designed interfaces and constructed user flows for the iTunes team.
At Google, Lisa built user communities and created tools to support their interactions. She also moonlighted as a UX designer for the Google UX team, constructing dashboards for data pipelines and enhancing the Search ad experience.
Derin is a CMU grad with a B.S. in Information Systems and experience in HCI. He has experience building small to large scale systems for clients like the Christian Minisitry Association and Urban Impact. Last summer he worked with a small company named Clickbrands as a front end designer.
Before studying Human-Computer Interaction, Adam completed his undergrad degree in computer science. Most recently he worked on the mobile team at Yelp. He is primarily interested in building user experiences for mobile and web environments.
