Field service engineers get dispatched to complex and high-risk environments every day with multiple switchgear and a variety of layouts. No environment is alike, and every situation is different. Warnings and indicators on equipment often lack actionable information.
Once an engineer reaches the site, every minute is critical. Having to spend extra time fumbling with devices or looking up information can be costly. The AR assistant allows the engineer to work freely and use voice to quickly access needed information.
In addition, Lumiere will remind the engineer about safety precautions and display specific information about the range of the arc flash zones and required personal protective equipment (PPE). The in-context safety information will result in reinforcing the importance of safety.
