I’m a product designer from Hong Kong who believes design is the courage to ask “what if”. Before coming to CMU, I interned at IDEO as an interaction designer, worked in a Web3 company as a product designer, and cofounded a data analytics startup from 0 to 1. Outside of work, I love creating illustrations, animations, and playing Volleyball.
SOPHIA YONUS
Hello! My name is Sophia Yonus and I am the UX researcher! I obtained my B.S. in Cognitive Science with a Specialization in Human-Computer Interaction/Design and Computer Science from UC San Diego. I previously worked at IBM as a Design Researcher and focused on AI research and Client Engineering. Fun fact about me is that I am a violist and am really addicted to listening Tchaikovsky’s 5th Symphony!

I'm Tyler Webster, a Master's student in Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University and an experienced Engineer. My work spans from designing electrical systems for data centers to developing innovative hardware for electric bicycles. I'm excited to bring my expertise and collaborative spirit to the team, aiming to drive impactful innovations.

I love thinking about how people use and are affected by the systems and experiences around them, and beyond that how I can make those relationships more effective. My B.S. in Human Systems Engineering (UX Focus) from Arizona State University has given me interesting perspectives on designing for digital interfaces through the lens of Human Factors.
