Roberto Clemente was a beacon of excellence both on and off the field. While a star player for the Pittsburgh Pirates, he dedicated his life to humanitarianism, and ultimately gave his life for it delivering aid to Nicaraguan earthquake victims in 1972. He left behind his wife Vera and three young children.

We aim to create a digital experience that shares Roberto Clemente's legacy with both a younger and broader audience. We seek to emphasize the man behind the baseball uniform, his struggles against racism as a Puerto-Rican, and his incredible acts of service.
