Analysis

 We used the following analysis tools to to make sense of all the data we collected in the Research phase.

Affinity Diagramming: We took our notes from Contextual Inquiry and clustered like ideas and problems together. Affinity diagramming helped us identify our problem space.

Ideas Matrix: Using the data from our affinity diagram, we generated design ideas. We categorized the ideas by which groups in the SDM they would serve.

Card Sorting: We used card sorting to help us generate a high-level information architecture for the SDM Intranet. We gave the participants approximately 70 cards to sort and had them label the groupings they created.
