David builds interactive, AI-infused tools for designers to co-create with AI capabilities, with a mixed background in Human-Computer Interaction and Computer Vision.

David's projects span multiple modalities: video, image, 3D, text, audio, and sketching. A large thread of his research has focused on AI-augmented video creation tools, including tools for adding sound effects to visuals, detecting highlight moments, and organizing video footage.

David's research impacts design practice by seamlessly blending AI capabilities into designers' natural workflows, enhancing both their creativity and productivity.
