Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Computer Science department, Human Computer Interaction Institute is searching for a post-doctoral fellow who will do both research and technical work (i.e., programming) for two new National Science Foundation (NSF) grants. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically-oriented post-doc researcher to make an impact in exciting new research, in the areas of gender studies, digital learning games, and intelligent tutors.
The HCI Institute at Carnegie Mellon is searching for technical teaching track faculty with experience exploring new technologies within real-world industry settings and applying them throughout the human-centered design process.
The HCI Institute at Carnegie Mellon is searching for design teaching track faculty with industry experience collaborating in, and/or leading interdisciplinary teams in research, design, prototyping and testing. Teaching faculty in the Human-Computer Interaction program bring their experience working in a product company and/or consultancy in a design studio style educational setting that emphasizes team based projects, application of theory to practice, critique and presentation.
