News
Chris Harrison’s visualization work was selected as runner up (honorable mention) in the illustration category of the NSF/Science 2008 Science and Engineering Visualization Challenge and will appear in this month’s issue of Science.
In this visualization, 1,189 chapters of the Bible are visualized as a bar graph—the length of each bar is proportional to the number of verses in the chapter. Books alternate in color between white and grey. Rendered above are 63,779 cross references found in the Bible, each represented by a single arc connecting two pieces of the text.
