CMU to Host Automotive User Interfaces Conference

Anind K. Dey, Associate Professor in the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) Institute, and CMU welcome the 2nd International Automotive User Interfaces Conference being held November 11–12, 2010 in Pittsburgh, PA. This conference will explore explore ways in which in-car user interfaces can be designed so as to avoid distracting the driver while still providing a valuable service and features keynote speaker, John Krumm. Krumm, a senior researcher at Microsoft Research, received his PhD in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University.
