Description
Emiia Huerta-Sanchez obtained her PhD in Applied Mathematics at Cornell University. She was supervised by Drs. Carlos Bustamante and Rick Durrett. She was a postdoctoral fellow at UC Berkeley in Statistics and Integrative Biology working with Rasmus Nielsen. She started her first independent position at UC Merced in the Department of Molecular Cell Biology and then moved to Brown in 2019. Faculty Host:  Oana Carja (CMU) Zoom Participation.
