For over a decade, Lee has worked to design innovative products spanning industries and platforms from tablet based institutional investing tools to sports car instrument clusters. Leveraging a foundation in product design and Human Computer Interaction, Lee brings a unique understanding of user centered methodologies and the interplay of hardware and software. Lee has a passion for complex systems and enjoys a hands on approach from concept development to launch. Before joining the MCHI team at CMU Lee led UX design as a VP of User Experience in Digital Payments at Mastercard. Before Mastercard, Lee worked with world class design agencies including R/GA and Isobar serving a wide range of global clients including, Samsung, HBO, Panasonic, Bank of New York Mellon, Fidelity Investments, Toyota, and Volkswagen.
As Executive Director of MHCI, Lee brings industry expertise and a deep passion for the growth of the experience design discipline. Lee holds a bachelors degree in industrial design from Pratt Institute and a masters in Human Computer Interaction from the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University.
