Yi-Chia Wang is a Principal Research Scientist in the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University and a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University. Previously, she was a Research Scientist at Meta AI and Uber AI, where she specialized in conversational modeling. Yi-Chia earned her Ph.D. from the Language Technologies Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. Her interdisciplinary research spans Natural Language Processing, Computational Social Science, and Artificial Intelligence, with a particular emphasis on understanding and modeling human-human and human-AI interactions. Her work aims to develop better technologies to enhance user experience, promote well-being, and advance trust and safety in interactive systems.
