This is a required course for
MHCI

The objectives of this course are to prepare students for professional careers.

Community (Seminar Component)

To expose students to the world of HCI through research and industry expert talks
To allow students to practice translating scholarly insights into interactive learning experiences
To give students practice in facilitation, collaboration, and professional communication

Career (Professional Component)

To prepare students to navigate job hunting through resume and portfolio workshops and to provide industry insights into HCI and the profession.
To also educate students on conflict management, teamwork, active listening skills, and communication skills to give them tools to collaborate and work more efficiently on multi-disciplinary teams.
