Course Description

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to using the Think-Aloud Protocol as a core method for evaluative research across different stages of product development. From competitive analysis to prototypes and live products, students will learn to apply this method to uncover user insights and improve design. Additionally, the course introduces complementary quantitative techniques, such as the System Usability Scale (SUS), to provide a well-rounded approach to evaluative research. This course emphasizes practical applications, equipping students to plan, execute, and report on usability studies.
