The event begins with pre-conference workshops and tutorials on Friday, Nov. 14, followed by the conference kick-off cocktail party at 7 p.m. The main conference will begin on Saturday, featuring research and industry talks, a poster/demo session and panel discussions. We’ll celebrate the HCII in style Saturday night at our grand banquet, and reconvene Sunday morning for a few hours of additional activities. Confirmed keynote speakers throughout the weekend include Kerry Bodine, Stuart Card, Karen Holtzblatt and Don Norman. (A list of other confirmed speakers is available here.)

Saturday, Nov. 15

The main conference on Saturday and Sunday will take place on the fourth floor of the Gates-Hillman Center (GHC, Gates). The main room will be the Rashid Auditorium (Gates 4401), and the second room will be Gates 4307. Registration and coffee will be in the foyer outside Gates 4401. If the main room or second room fill up, the session will be simulcast to the overflow room, the Raj Reddy Room (Gates 4405).
