Pete leads product and service innovation for Walgreens Personalization and CRM team through evidence based design leadership that delivers a return on investment via a return on behavior. As a UX Manager, Pete empowers individuals and teams across diverse organizations to translate behavioral needs of target customers and patients into connected products, designs, and services. Pete’s work experience includes helping to redefine rural care for Norman Regional Health system; to discovering, defining and co-designing Smart Home market opportunities for Sears Holdings with customers and employee stakeholders; to leading user Research for Microsoft Surface multi-touch tabletop; to developing the behavioral framework with marketing for Steps with Balance Rewards / Balance Rewards for Healthy Choices at Walgreens to increase the health and well-being of its customers and patient populations through extrinsic rewards and intrinsic motivation. Pete has been an invited speaker, workshop collaborator, and/or published with numerous organizations, including the international Service Design Network, the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, and institutions including IIT's Institute of Design, Ohio State, Carnegie Mellon and CMU’s Quality of Life Technology Consortium.
