In early stage organizations, designing the user experience of product is often overlooked to focus on growing other areas of the organization such as development, marketing and sales. Reactivity focuses on helping early stage, emerging companies gain momentum in all areas of product and technology development from idea to launch. This includes branding, identity design, marketing materials, graphic design, systems architecture, development and deployment. As we move to a medium, the web, where the user interface is often the only contact with the customer, the need to understand the product development lifecycle and impact of user interface design decisions are company wide.

Speaker's Bio

David Crow, Partner
David joined Reactivity in June 1999. His work includes defining and implementing the user experience and software products for emerging organizations and early stage companies. Prior to joining Reactivity, David served as a Senior Interaction Designer for Trilogy Software and as a Senior Research Engineer at Rockwell Collins, Inc. His research has focused on understanding human behavior to build computational models. David graduated with a Masters from the HCII at Carnegie Mellon University and with Honors from the University of Waterloo. David can be reached at crow@reactivity.com

Lynn Pausic, Partner
Lynn joined Reactivity in August 1999. Lynn is responsible for shaping the vision of many startup organizations by helping to define their product offerings and designing their visual and interaction strategies. Lynn is an interaction designer with formal training in graphic design, interaction design and psychology from Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to joining Reactivity, Lynn served as the Director of the HCI Group at Trilogy Software, Product Manager for Trilogy’s Opportunity Management System and Lead Interaction Designer for many of Trilogy’s Fortune 500 clients.
