Description

Elliott started a Service Design Firm right after graduating from the MHCI program with two MHCI graduates and two Interaction Design graduates. This talk tells the story of how the design firm started, and what project Pink is working on now.

Speaker's Bio

Elliott holds an undergraduate degree in Cognitive Science from MIT, and a Masters in Human-Computer Interaction from CMU. After completing his Masters, he started Pink, a Service Design firm with a heavy emphasis on using HCI research techniques to not only improve digital interfaces, but environments and processes as well. Elliott’s interests include digitally assisted collaborative work, ethnographic research, design theory, rapid prototyping, and large white boards.
