Julius Tarng
BHCI Alumni
Class of 2010
Born in Seattle; raised in Taiwan and the San Francisco Bay Area; designer; artist; overachiever; ambitious dreamer.
I’ve called myself a graphic designer since 2004, but as of 2008 I’ve delved into the world of industrial design. I am extremely interested in combining my graphic design skills with my industrial design in the form of product branding. I would love a career designing consumer electronics, soft goods, or concept art (An opportunity to engage in one of these areas in an internship or job would be awesome!).
Grid systems and swiss design excite me. Traditional sketching and rendering of concept vehicle designs, figure drawing, and architectural sketches capture me for hours. In my spare time, I am an avid breakdancer and locker, president of CMU’s Taiwanese Students Association, and programmer.
