Meng Cao is a postdoctoral fellow at the Human-Computer Interaction Institute. Her research focuses on conducting experiments to explore how different practice scheduling strategies—such as spacing, interleaving, and blocking—affect students' learning in areas like category learning and STEM education. Additionally, she utilizes computational models to predict student performance and integrates these models into adaptive training systems. The primary goal of her work is to optimize practice scheduling algorithms to enhance learning outcomes. She earned her Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology (Cognitive) from the University of Memphis.
