Qianru (Ru) is a postdoctoral researcher at the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, advised by Professor Vincent Aleven. She earned her Ph.D. from the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She is a learning science researcher with extensive experience in the fields of Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL), AI for education, Multi-Modal Learning Analytics (MMLA) and peer feedback. Qianru is interested in using various learning analytics and AI techniques to understand the learning process and peer interaction patterns. Qianru’s work has been published in top-tier education journals such as the Internet and Higher Education, Journal of the Learning Sciences, Cognition and Instruction and Instructional Sciences.)
