Melissa Lahn

Melissa Lahn is a seasoned human-centered experience leader with 8+ years in higher-ed and 15+ years in industry. She has led cross-functional teams through the end-to-end consumer journey and product lifecycle, including building out and scaling design practices within organizations. Her career spans in-house, consulting and freelance across many industries including health and wellbeing, finance, insurance, real estate, commerce and SaaS. Whether leading teams, coaching, or teaching in the classroom; she creates transformational environments that nurture creativity, diversity, and innovation to drive meaningful outcomes. Melissa currently teaches Design of AI Product and Services and Interaction Design courses at CMU.
