In the Enhance Project, learning scientists collaborate with education agencies to improve how states assess their students. Drawing upon the fields of learning science and psychology and harnessing the power of computational methods, researchers work to answer questions about existing assessments and move them forward. At CMU, Enhance Project researchers are currently collaborating with the state of Louisiana and to develop and evaluate an Innovative Assessment for English Language Arts.
