Hyun Jin (Alicia) Lee

I’m a designer and researcher. I'm a PhD student researching technologies that support well-being and complex human dynamics. My current work focuses on artificial and virtual technologies that enhance well-being while respecting autonomy and dignity. My research focuses on developing agents that assist people by navigating complex interpersonal social contexts. I'm also exploring how VR/XR can materialize and help thoughts, emotions, and wellness, integrating cognitive and design techniques with immersive experiences to promote well-being. The goal is to develop trustworthy, valuable technology that is adept at managing human relationships and dynamics.
